Fundamental Science and Aerodynamics

Fundamental science affects our lives in many ways. Every object we touch has been through the hands of an engineer, who uses the results of fundamental science research to create safe and useful designs. Aerodynamics is no exception in the use of fundamental science, which led to the source, sink and point vortex assumptions, developed at the turn of the century and still useful today.
